An era is always defined by its icons. For instance, the 70’s was a time of high youth unemployment and a generation that had limited career options. They saw Mr. Bachchan as the iconic “Angry Young Man”. This is the time of the millennials- this a generation they are go getters who never settle for anything less than their dreams. Fields such as glamour, blogging, DJ, etc. that were once considered frivolous hobbies are now looked upon as legitimate career choices. In our inaugural issue, as a magazine for the youth, we wish to celebrate this go-getter spirit that embodies today’s generation with an amazing and inspiration interview by our very own cover girl, Shrishti Kaur. This Teen Miss Universe is a living proof of the fact that when you chase your dreams nothing is impossible. No matter what anyone tells you, follow your path and let the world acknowledge your truth. We also, talk about things around us that matter, like the alarming levels of pollution and what we can do about it, as a generation. We already know that “living green” today is no longer a lifestyle choice but a dire need of the hour. Something as basic as the air we breathe can no longer be taken for granted. This is a matter that touches all spheres of our lives and is a precursor to how things may transpire in the future. At ME, we aspire to be a publication that is motivating and informative. We aim to encourage the youth in their various endeavours and be a part of the solution to their queries. Be it anything from career to fashion to lifestyle. We are a resource that brings you the info on all matters current and important. So spread your wings and get ready to soar!!
