The X10s hull features a flatter stern providing tighter and improved handling while keeping the deep dead rise in the bow for a smooth ride in rough waters. We took our first X10 out on the water this past October and were very impressed with how smooth the boat handled. The boat features a sportier ride while providing large bow and cockpit space.

The new Auto Launch feature intelligently controls your attitude plate to get the boat on plane faster while simultaneously reducing unwanted bow rise. Simply throttle up like normal and the tab will deploy to provide lift and then retract once the boat is on plane. That tab auto launches when decelerating as well to reduce bow rise while dropping off plane. In our tests, the auto launch feature reduced time to plane by 50% of our 2013 XStar.

HERB OBRIEN 1944 – 2012
Chances are if you’ve tried waterskiing or wakeboarding, you can credit some of your fun to the hard work of Herb O’Brien. Herb began shaping waterskis as a teenager in his parent’s garage. His unique concave bottom slalom ski was a hit and put O’Brien waterskis on the map in the 1970s. Herb would later sell the company and start anew with H.O. Sports in the 1990s. As wakeboarding grew in popularity, Herb would be credited with designing the first compression-molded wakeboard, launching the well-known Hyperlite brand. He most recently founded Ronix Wakeboards and Radar Skis continuing a 50-year legacy of waterski innovation. Herb passed away this past October at the age of 68, and we’d like to say, “Thank you,” to Herb for many years of friendship and your endless contributions to the watersports community. You will truly be missed by many here at Action water Sports.
