Zoe Ministries Brings Life-changing Experiences for 36 Years

Zoeministries.com 14 36th Year Anniversary Celebration 2019 As a new member of Zoe Ministries, it is of great honor to tell the stories of those who have been a part of Zoe for a long time, or at least before me. Before I share these stories, I want to share mine. I have always been a believer of God, even when I had my doubts as a teenager. However, no one has been able to explain to me the purpose of going to church, the purpose of God, or my purpose on earth. I have been seeking these answers since I was a child. Fast forward years later, I was introduced to Sean "ARNSTAR" Kirkland, and he introduced me to Zoe Ministries. My first encounter at Zoe Ministries was during the summer in August 2018, at Bible Study. I was dropping something off to ARNSTAR, and did not realize where I was meeting him. As I tell everyone at the church, I was not dressed appropriately. I had a crop top and cut up jeans-- millennial style. However, he encouraged me to come inside. I went in with a lot of resistance. Pastor Debra was teaching Bible Study. When it came to the guest portion of service, I wanted to run away. ARNSTAR warned me that I might have to speak, and I was so nervous when Pastor Debra called my name and asked me for my information and how I heard about the church. Mind you, I am a public speaker. Right after I spoke, she gave me a word. The word she gave me was powerful, because it was something in my heart. I was even more shaken, and at the same time, I felt I was meant to be there. However, the one thing that I loved about this day was I didn’t feel any judgment. No one was staring at me because I wasn’t dressed appropriately. Everyone welcomed me with open arms. Every Wednesday, ARNSTAR and I would have our weekly business meetings, and afterwards he always got me to attend Bible Study with him, or should I say, God used him to get me to attend. I became more comfortable with being at Zoe. I was introduced to various people at Zoe and eventually, I made the commitment to go to Bible Study and church service every week in November 2018. I was learning so much and putting into practice the teachings of Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan and Pastor Debra Jordan. I saw my life changing drastically. Even ARNSTAR and others around me noticed the change in me. Then at the start of 2019, I became an official member of Zoe Ministries. So many opportunities presented themselves within this short time of becoming a member, and now here you all are, reading the magazine I produced with Prophetess Naomi. Let’s get into the stories from our fellow members: Prophetess Nyakya Brown (Member for 10+ years) “My Zoe Ministries experience has been a life-altering experience. I thank God for Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan, Pastor/Prophetess Debra Jordan, and their family. I thank God for their lifelong sacrifice and commitment to the prophetic. I thank God for entrusting and blessing Archbishop, the Master Prophet, with the vision of Zoe Ministries. For over a decade, I have been connected to Zoe Ministries, a connection that has grown stronger and stronger over the years. Zoe Ministries and the Company of Prophets have become a second family to me. It is a place where I have been able to develop spiritually, personally, and professionally. It has been through the teachings and leadership of the Master Prophet, Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan, that I have gained access to the blueprint that God has ordained me to follow during this lifetime. Through the prophetic words that have been spoken over my life, I have been able to receive answers regarding my past, guidance regarding my present, and ordered steps regarding my future. Zoe Ministries is a community full of individuals who love the Lord, welcomes everyone, and joins together for the purpose of Kingdom building. There is no other place where one can come be loved, educated, challenged, corrected, and celebrated all in the name of Jesus. I will always be indebted to the Eagle's House, Zoe Ministries, for allowing me a safe space to grow into my true self. The Master Prophet, Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan, and Pastor/Prophetess, Debra Jordan, have been an inspiration to me and living examples of what it means to labor for the Lord. I have been blessed by their leadership, giving spirit, and the powerful demonstration of God that dwells within them. Zoe Ministries is a global prophetic movement of God. Zoe Ministries is my spiritual home away from home.” Prophetess Evelyn L'Elie (Member for 17 years) “My name is Prophetess Evelyn L'Elie, I am in charge of the Zoe Care Group System. I am also an assistant secretary for Zoe Ministries. I have been a member since 2002. I was introduced to Bishop Jordan at his birthday celebration, the Rolls Royce parade. I was blessed to be invited by Reverend Ike. I was seeking a spiritual leader, teacher, father and confidant. I found all of that in Archbishop Jordan. I am grounded here at Zoe Ministries and I am continually growing my faith and learning new understanding and wisdom. I have sorted through many churches prior to Zoe, to know that Zoe is not like any other church. This is where you have an opportunity to grow and help others grow. I am blessed to be a part of Zoe Ministries and look forward to where God is leading Zoe Ministries.” Prophet Bobby Jennings (Member for 3 months) “I joined Zoe Ministries in December 2018, but I have been a part of P.O.M.E for over four and a half years. I have been listening to the teachings of Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan since 2006. I was introduced to his teaching on Cosmic Economics. It was about the business of getting rich. At that time, I was interested in business and I wanted to understand as a Christian how to flow and function in business. Instead, I got the teachings on how to operate in everyday life. In order for us to be effective in business, we need to have a foundation in our everyday life that will establish us and help us maintain a level of success in the marketplace. The ministry has really opened my eyes to who I am in God. It helped me to understand how to function and operate in God about who I am, and not just in the Spirit, but in the natural so I

can function in everyday life, also, how to move and operate with people of all nationalities regardless of their race. This word helped me to operate in my divinity and my being so that I can fulfill my purpose on the earth. My experience with Zoe and with the teaching of the community and P.O.M.E, has been exceptional because I received a life-giving word that has changed my world for eternity.” Prophetess Iris Green (Member for 34 years) “I joined Zoe Ministries around 1985. My experience with Zoe has been life transforming. I always thank God for bringing me to Zoe. I thank God for the type of leadership He has put me under. I have seen various aspects of the ministry. I have seen people come and go to and from the ministry. Despite it all, I know I was called to Zoe. The time I was introduced to Zoe, it was through a girlfriend and I was looking for a church. The church I was attending before Zoe did not have a Bible class. I felt that I needed teaching. My girlfriend introduced me to Pastor Jordan. Archbishop was Pastor at that time. The quality of teaching is what attracted me to Zoe. I attended a service and I noticed how they were waiting on the Holy Spirit. They are really waiting on God. It was not a routine of going from one thing to the other. They are not moving until they feel the Holy Spirit. When I heard they were having Bible class I gathered up my pennies to come and join, and I’ve been blessed ever since. I used to attend Bible Study, which was on a Thursday. I was getting so much spiritual food that I felt like I needed to be here, and I made my break with the other church. I’ve been coming to Zoe ever since. The Master Prophet brings teachings that are practical in the Bible. He brings teachings that you can apply every day. He brings the revelation that you can identify with, and it’s not something spiritual up high in heaven that you can’t even identify with it. He brings teachings that cover the different basis of life, that sometimes people only see with certain physical teachings that they see at home. It fills the holes that are missing. He introduces us to various aspects of life. To me, he was the only pastor who brought entrepreneurship into play, because you cannot fulfill your life in a nine-to-five job. Many people leave their dreams and goals behind for the sake of a nine-to-five, which is Just Over Broke. He also brings up another aspect of living your life: picking up your dream and going beyond the nine -to-five. What is your calling in life? Maybe it’s not a nine-to-five. It could be something else; performing, teaching or exploring aspects of a business. He brings enrichment to life. The name “Zoe” itself means, "God-kind of life." Since becoming a part of Zoe, I have experienced the God-Kind of Life, because this is what God is really about.” Delric "D-Roy" Pollins, Jr. (Member for 4 years) “When I first came to Zoe, I wasn’t coming to be a member. I was invited to beatbox. Bishop Jordan asked me, "What else do you do?" I told him I play the drums, and he said, "I need a drummer," so I showed up in that space. From there I learned a lot of stuff, especially since I was just starting to attend church again. Before, I wasn’t really heavy into church like that. Being here gave me a foundation again. It gave me a purpose with God. I didn’t understand what was happening in that avenue because it was an unclear time. When I came into the church, my father had just been murdered. It was a trying time for me, but it was a re-shift in focus. The feeling I got from Zoe was love and family, and they just welcomed me as I was. They didn’t judge me.” Sean "ARNSTAR" Kirkland (Member for 24 years) “Zoe has literally saved my life and transformed it for the better each and every season that I've been through, starting with my family and just seeing God move via Zoe through the prophecies, prayers, teaching, and knowledge. When I became of age, I began to step into it myself so that I can take my own walk and my responsibility in it. One of my most memorable moments at Zoe was when I was sixteen years old. I came in and sowed a $520 seed. I was gifted with a book, The Business of Getting Rich. I was super excited about reading this book. I had an understanding it would teach me how to grow money. I thought it would be about investments, how to do business trade secrets, and indeed it was something much more. It was more about breaking mental shackles and walking spiritual freedom. It really made me realize money is different from dollars. That was the beginning of my mindset shifting. I said to myself, "This type of teaching is something I need in my life." Ever since then I’ve had a passion and hunger for God like no other.” Randi Corbo (Member for 2 years) “I came to Zoe accidentally. My children's grandmother has been a member for thirty years. We came here once to pay her tithes. I walked in with her and I was caught off guard. It was between services and Joshua gave me an incredible word. No one has done that to me before. He asked me "if my finances depended on me coming to church every single week." Once he mentioned finances, I said, "I’ll be here. You don’t have to say anything else." I’ve been here ever since. I’ve never been so moved before, and I've learned so much. I didn’t grow up in church, and this is my first real experience, and I get to bring my children to be part of it. It’s so warm and welcoming.” Jennifer Mobley (Member for 5 years) “My family has been a part of the church for the last twenty years. In 2014, I came in at a very interesting time of my life. For the first two weeks, I was crying at every service and didn’t know why. I felt like this was the place for me to spiritually cleanse. I was so attracted to the Music Department. Every song was about prosperity. That got my initial attention. The Master Prophet and his teachings were everything I needed. Also, learning different social and life lessons was predominantly what attracted me, as well. I felt like Zoe was a place I never experienced before. Even with me going to other churches-- I get that we want to talk about the Bible and what God has planned for us, but how do we switch that into today’s society? How does that reflect on what’s going on today? I really appreciate the fact that Archbishop is an evolving type of person. He is understanding and transparent about what’s going on today. Folks are very welcoming, and I have even been able to fill in leadership spaces. I don’t think I’m going to be leaving here ever.”
