Gaps between decking boards and brick wall are all 6mm

Length of the decking boards are reduced due to the engaged pier. Detail see B1- Deck Plan 1:50

Decking board here is cut by the engaged pier (Detailed dimension see B1 - Deck Plan 1:50)

Decking boards are nailed onto the joists under them to avoid moving.

There is another joist below the existing joist connected with bearers on both sides which support the edges (see B5 Perspective 1 for details)
