The existing site has a flat topography with one entrance from the street side. The aim in the first phase is to create basic access and circulation through the site. There will be first two buildings or pavilions built on the site to develope a neighbourhood social gathering space in the near center. This will forming the early users and visitors for the site further development.
With the early users on the site, the next phase is to add more physical landscapes with the consideration of the water bodies. These will transfer the site funcation from a neighbourbood social gathering space into a more public area for people to visit and spend time in. Add more planting to create a better visual experience for users when visiting the site.
Architectural elements developed: Social gathering building (Provides Library - Meeting Room- Common Room) Small pavilion (Will be further developed into a coffee room)
Architectural elements developed: Spinning water features Learning Center (For children and elderly people) Waterfall garden (at the back of the site)
The final phase here is aim to develop the site into a ecological and environmental system with the full circulation from the public. The small pavilion in the first phase developed into a coffee shop to attract more potential users to spend more time on site enjoying the landscapes and greens. The rain water are collected and recycled for the toilet flushing and ground vegetation watering, also the waterfall is recycled as well to minimise the impact to the surrounding environment. The site will finally provides users with different experience in each section built in to maximise the quality for the space both inside and outside.
