About

Founded in Sep. 2003, our sculpture institute has a full name of “Beijing Culture Space Sculpture Institute”, which was once called “The Sculpture Institute of Beijing Architecture Art and Sculpture Factory”, or “The Institute of Beidiao” in the inner field. In the completion of the People’s Monument in Tiananmen Square, Beijing Architecture Art and Sculpture Factory was founded with the support of Premier Zhou Enlai in 1958. In the beginning of the history of the factory, the former sculpture designing force formed “The Institute of Beidiao”. In the period of forty years till now, there have been nearly thirty sculptors once worked in this place. They have made great contribution to the prosperity and development of the Chinese Sculpture by their studious working and abundant production. As a result, “The Institute of Beidiao” had once become a wide accepted
