We are seeing good demand for rental properties. The recent launch of apartments at Golding House means we have good stock available – one beds are letting quickly achieving £320 - £340 per week and two beds £420 - £450 per week. Increasing numbers of overseas applicants are relocating here – whereas a few years ago they might have headed to central London, often now they'll investigate places like Colindale where there has been a lot of regeneration.

LETTINGS MARKET UPDATE 2016 was a rather turbulent year, what with Brexit, tax changes and new admin fee laws. Normally we see rents increasing YOY at around 3%, but in 2016 we saw prices stay the same on average. There were some deviants to the average; some high end properties saw as much as a 5% decrease and some of the cheaper property had increases of around 2%. Supply and demand had swayed, landlords needed to rent their properties so there were high levels of stock, but many tenants stayed put. On a positive note, we managed to minimise voids for landlords, so most maintained a similar rent and secured good tenants for another year.
