Zepter International warrants that your QuanoMed mattresses, toppers and pillows will be free from defects in material or workmanship at the time of the original purchase for a period of ten (10) years. Condition: The warranty is valid only: • If the mattress is used on either of the following: a rigid, non-spring foundation; an adjustable bed base; a slatted foundation with a maximum spacing of 7.5 cm between slats; a slatted platform bed with a maximum spacing of 7.5 cm between slats. • If the individual weight of a person is not more than 70 kg for MEDIUM firmness (72-75 kgs/m³) or 115 kg for FIRM firmness (80 kgs/m³) Warranty will be voided: • If the recommended individual’s weight is exceeded. • If the mattress is cleaned by any kind of bleach or by using high-power vacuum cleaner. • If the mattress is exposed to direct sunlight or a source of heat. This 10-year limited warranty extends to the initial, “original” purchaser of the product only and not to any possible future owner(s) of the product. For the purposes of this 10-year limited warranty, an “original” purchaser is the individual or entity who purchased the mattress, topper or pillow from an authorised Zepter International sales agent or official distributor. For any limited warranty claim, a proof of purchase is required. The original purchaser bears the burden of proof in such case. Exception: For textile cover, the warranty period of two (2) years shall apply. The textile cover should be dry washed or washed at a very low temperature of up to 30°C. 10-year limited warranty covers: • Sagging, if the sagging depth is more than 3 cm in the first 2 years. • Any cracking or splitting of the mattress foam which significantly impacts the performance of the mattress as long as such damage is not due to any abuse or misuse by the users, including the lack of proper support or improper handling of the mattress. This 10-year limited warranty does not cover: • Dissatisfaction due to subjective discomfort. •D iscolouration brought on by washing the mattress and/or normal wear and tear as well as the natural yellowing that occurs as latex ages. • Black and/or white debris or discolouration that is deemed to be a residue of the natural latex baking process. • An uneven surface that results from the long-term use and if the mattress is not flipped regularly. • Damages incurred by the mattress owner, such as accidental tears or scratches that might happen while transporting the mattress. • Sagging that results from jumping on the mattress, the usage of mattress on an unsuitable base, even body weight fluctuations during the period when the mattress is used. •S tains from beverages, food, body fluids, etc. • Other issues that can be attributed to normal wear and tear. • Transport cost from the original purchaser to authorised Zepter Centre and back. Zepter International reserves the right to replace any or all products from the QuanoMed range by a similar item. This guarantee does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under applicable national legislation in force, nor the customer’s rights against the retailer arising from the sales/purchase agreement. In the absence of applicable national legislation, this guarantee will be consumer’s sole and exclusive legal remedy, and the manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express of implied guarantee of this product. The liability of manufacturer is limited to and shall not exceed the purchase price of the product actually paid by the consumer.
