Human rights

Commitment to Human Rights Council is committed to protecting and promoting human rights in all the work we do - from the decisions we make to the services we provide. The Human Rights Act 2019 protects human rights, including property rights, cultural rights and freedom of expression. All people are afforded the same human rights regardless of background, where we live, what we look like, what we think, or what we believe.

Human rights/privacy complaints Council received one privacy/human rights complaint in the year to 30 June 2022. The complaint is still being assessed as further particulars are required. The Complaint Management Policy and Procedure have previously been reviewed for compliance with the Human Rights Act 2019.
