Annual report recognition

Annual report awarded a silver award . Council was awarded a Silver Award by the Australasian Reporting Awards, ARA, for the 2021/22 Annual Report. The ARA Awards provide an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their annual reports against the ARA criteria, based on world best practice. The Awards are run by the ARA which is an independent not-for-profit organisation. The Awards are open to all private sector, public sector and not-for-profit sector organisations in Australia, New Zealand and countries in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. The Awards recognise excellence in reporting with Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in the benchmarking General Award and in the competitive Awards. Council’s Annual Report is an important publication for communicating our work and achievements to our constituents as well as providing transparency and accountability for the spending of public money. Council takes great pride in the Annual Report and strives to meet best practice in reporting to ensure our community and other stakeholders are well informed of Council’s goals, work and performance.
