Famous names: Shakespeare, the Beatles, Queen Elizabeth II, David Beckham Serbia is in the south-east of Europe. People in Serbia speak Serbian. Belgrade is the capital of Serbia. The rivers Sava and Danube run through Belgrade. This is the Serbian flag. In Belgrade people travel by car, bus, trolley bus, tram and train. There are two children in a typical Serbian family. The Serbs are crazy about basketball. “Pljeskavica” is a very popular traditional food (but it’s not a hamburger, it’s different).
