Zara Syed

As a high school student at Newark Academy, I embrace my roles as an Athlete, Author, Activist and Artist. I founded Good Intentions, a non-profit initiative in 2020, where I focus on research, collaboration, fundraising, and creating solutions to alleviate hunger. All proceeds from the sale of my designs go directly to fighting hunger. Beyond Good Intentions, I’m an active member of Model Congress and a writer for The Minuteman, Newark Academy's newspaper, where I address pressing social issues such as food insecurity and justice.
