INTRODUCTION  Colon cancer runs in my family.  It is important to familiarize myself with enhancing my immune system as best as possible by improving my diet.

 This presentation will briefly discuss colon cancer and diet changes that can help with colon and, many other cancers.

Diet and Colon Cancer  Studies show that Western Diet induced obesity have a direct link to colon cancer.

Eating Healthy Foods the Right way  Try to eat vegetables as raw as possible  Wash all fruits and vegetables  Try to flavor with natural herbs and spices  Avoid grilling meats


Avoid Alcohol and Smoking ď‚— Avoid as much as possible smoking and alcohol use.


GMO’s and Pesticides  Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s) are plants or animals that have been altered to resist pesticides or insecticides.

Exercise and Cancer  Control you weight  Be more active  150 minutes of activity per week (30 min x 5days)


Conclusion  I am doing this for me to educate myself and my family .  I have a long way to go.  Try to control what I put in my mouth to nurture and feed my body. Good idea to see a doctor for Baseline labs and weigh loss management.
