The Zappos Culture means that I can make a direct and positive impact on the team I work with (Team R.A.C.E.C.A.R., where you at?!) and on the company as a whole. Any idea that I wanted to pursue or contribute to was considered and often times embraced. Through this process I am inspired by others on a daily basis, and for that I am thankful. Godspeed, Zappos!

I love our culture! I have never before worked anywhere where I looked forward to going to work each and every day! We have many opportunities presented to us in job growth, seeing our ideas come to fruition and providing the best customer service in the industry! We have amazing benefits here and not a week goes by that I have not stated how lucky I am to work here and be a part of something I would have never thought existed! Thank you for letting me be a part of the Zappos experience for the past six years and I hope for many more to come!

To me, the Zappos Culture is all about being yourself and having fun while getting the job done efficiently. I’ve only been here a month and I’ve already learned a lot, and have a ways to go, but, I’ve made a lot of new friends too. This is the best job I’ve ever had.

employee since 2012 My experience at Zappos since I have joined has been nothing but amazing. The All Hands meeting, the culture, the opportunities, training, and attitude here can’t compare to those anywhere else. I am basically a Las Vegas local, and growing up here and hearing about Zappos ... it was a dream to get a job here. I cannot wait to continue in my journey with this company and grow with it. I know I have found the company I want to spend the rest of my life with. I thank Tony and the company in general for the opportunity to join the Zappos Family, and I hope I can play my part and grown and learn with everyone here.

employee since 2012 I had been here for nearly three months at the time of the request to do this entry for the Culture Book, so my experience is limited. On the other hand, I have a fresh and new look of Zappos, and each day teaches me something new and exciting. I have had experience in many different work atmospheres. I have had the regimented, uncaring employer to something new, Zappos, which is care-free but productive. The structure exists, but it is masked by a friendly, empowering sense of freedom. The core values that the company uses as their guidance seemed strange at first, but with time, I found that they do help make it easier to assist the customers in the best manner possible. I also have to say that since my coworkers are a pleasure to be around, the positive feeling from everyone carries over to the customers too. I have never before been so fortunate as to have customers calling in with a problem in their order and not be screaming at me. It is truly surprising and refreshing. The customers have even called in and asked if they could combine returns to help the company save some money in shipping. I never thought I would ever hear of a customer trying to help a company save money in that fashion. If every employer used a similar business plan, perhaps more employees would be happier at work and there would be less sick time used in this country. Nothing is perfect, but Zappos has done such a good job, you can overlook the imperfections that arise from time to time.

The Zappos Culture is quite unique and different from anything I have ever experienced before. Where else can you come into work and be completely yourself? The diversity of the people here is something you would never find somewhere else. It’s a fun place to work and very comforting knowing they like you for you and welcome your quirkiness. Parades, games, potlucks, shenanigans ... what more could you want. Definitely a sight to see.

Zappos has been a once in a lifetime experience. I have never met so many truly caring people as I have at Zappos. It is all and more than I ever expected it to be. In the short time I’ve been here, I am more positive, determined and willing to help all that I know and don’t know. I love Zappos!
