He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He started his career in 1979 as junior assistance at Royal Indrapura a joint venture insurance company in Jakarta. In 1983 He continued his carrier by joining IBS Insurance Broking Service. An international insurance broker in association with the Citcorp Insurance a subsidiary company of Citibank. His latest position was a senior unit manager. After 8 year then he moved and joined New Zealand Insurance Indonesia. He then moved back to insurance broking by joining 2 national insurance brokers. He was in charged as President Director of EstikaJasatama as subsidiary company of the largest state owned bank. In 2001 he continued his carrier by joining PT Jasa Indonesia (JASINDO) Indonesia’s largest insurance company. He was in charged as Director. Currently Irvan is in charged as Commissioner of Asuransi JiwaBersamaBumiputera 1912 the oldest and the larger life national insurance company.

Taufik is the founder of L&G. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He holds certificates of Registered Financial Planner (RFP), Certified Indonesian Insurance Broker (CIIB) and Ahli Pialang Asuransi Indonesia (APAI). Taufik started his career as life insurance agent at Asuransi Jiwa Bersama Bumiputera 1912 (in Jakarta in 1983 at the age of 19). Two years later he joined American International Underwriter (AIU) a general insurance company. Again he was in charged as an agent. In 1988 he joined Insurance Broking Service (IBS) an international insurance broker in association with the Citicorp Insurance a subsidiary company of Citibank. He started his career as junior assistant. His last position was Senior Unit Manager. During his time at IBS he gained valuable experiences in handling large and complicated risks such as petrochemical plants, large construction projects, oil and gas, mega property and heavy equipment. In 1995 Taufik showed his brilliant business and entrepreneurship skill by winning Biz Game Championship organized by IBM Asia Pacific in Jakarta. He deserved to represent Indonesia to Asia Pacific Business Game competition held in Sydney Australia attended by 6 Asia Pacific nations. There, again Taufik and his team became the winner and deserved the Asia Pacific Champion. The contest was about how to run a large corporation that was under difficult situations during multiple crises and to become a successful company. Following the glory, Taufik decided to start his own broking company. In 1996 he set up an insurance broker in cooperation with some investors.
