President Bill Clinton, Founder of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation accepted an award on behalf of the organization for improving heart health by fighting obesity. Jennie Garth received Campbell Soup Companyʼs Healthy Heart Award at the 11th Annual Womenʼs Day Red Dress Awards to benefit the American Heart Associationʼs Go Red For Women— bringing awareness to the fact that heart disease is the #1 killer of women today. The event was held at The Allen Room at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Sponsors included Campbell Soup Company, UnitedHealthcare, Rosa Regale Red Sparkling Wine, Twinings of London, Lenox and Landsʼ End.

Over six months, Womanʼs Day and Bauer provided nutrition counseling and guidance to six participating women whose makeovers are revealed in the February 2014 issue of Womanʼs Day. Multi-talented actress and singer Rita Wilson hosted/performed; also performances by Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles and Judith Hill. Womanʼs Day honored distinguished heart health advocates Dr. Michelle Albert, professor/chief of cardiovascular medicine, director of cardiovascular research, Howard University; Martine Reardon, chief marketing officer, Macyʼs; and Mildred Rodriguez, WomenHeart Champion. Attendees included: Barbara Walters, Hoda Kotb, Joan Lunden, Dr. Oz, Jane Krakowski, Jessica Simpson, Jane Seymour and numerous others. “Campbell Soup Company is honored to be sponsoring the Womanʼs Day Red Dress Awards through its long-standing support of the American Heart Association over the past eight years.
