"Inspired by Nature. Energized by People." Creating beautiful, poetic places in nature has been a passion of mine for quite some time. Today, I am energized by the range of expression in the field of landscape architecture and emboldened by the increase in an appreciation of beautiful places in the landscape. As a designer, I like to tap into site history, atmosphere, and context but still leave room for my intuition to provide design innovation and fresh ideas. In practice, I find it useful to work by hand as well as by computer and seek to bridge the space between the tradition and the novel.
