What is Learning Works?

Learning Works is a 10 week course where you learn new skills.

Course times are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week from 9.30am – 3.30pm.

You can apply if you are:   

Who can apply?

Unemployed Of working age (16+) Live in the Clyde Gateway area

Additional support: The course is delivered by Glasgow Kelvin College in an outreach venue near you.

   

You don’t need any qualifications, we work at a pace that is right for you. 

What will I learn?

The course will NOT affect your benefits as it is on a part-time basis.         

Communication Community Awareness Computer Skills (all levels) Employability Skills First Aid Food Hygiene Health & Wellbeing Literacy & Numeracy Personal Development

On completion of the course, all students will receive a recognised qualification.

Lunch will be provided Help with childcare if required Help with travel costs One to one support from our Employability Support Worker to plan your next steps Advice and guidance from various organisations
