Restaurants –The Lake Oswego restaurant scene is thriving. Despite the odds, most of our beloved restaurants have prevailed through the pandemic thanks to the suppor t of the community. New restaurants continue to open, including several in the recently improved Lake Grove district. Visit the Business Classifi eds section to e xplore and discover what we already know; Lake Oswego is a great place to dine!

Coffee Shops and Bakeries – Lake Oswego offers several places to enjoy the smell (and taste!) of fresh-baked bread, cookies, cakes, pastries and pies. Visit the “Coffee Specialty Shops” and “Bakeries” sections in the Business Classifi eds to fi nd a cozy local spot to meet a friend or enjoy some alonetime while sipping on your favorite brewed beverage. Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries – Take a short walk around downtown and you’ll see; Lake Oswego is emerging as a destination for tasting rooms. We are proud to have some of Oregon’s fi nest wine, beer and spirit producers in the neighborhood.

Farmers’ Markets (www.ci.oswego. or.us/lofm) – Since 2001, the Saturday morning downtown Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market has featured a seasonal, open-air marketplace for residents and visitors to gather and discover the region’s fi nest agricultural & food products. 2021 brought us the pilot of a second farmers’ market – Sunday afternoons in Lake Grove. Farmers and foodies love Lake Oswego!

Grocery Stores and Produce Stands – Lake Oswego has neighborhood markets that emphasize locally-sourced products from regional farmers, ranchers and producers. Luscher Farm (www.ci.oswego. or.us/luscher) – Through a city- and partner-funded sustainable community farming model, area residents are provided the opportunity to grow their own fresh, organic produce at the Lake Oswego Community Garden nestled in the beautiful and historic Luscher Farm. You can also purchase a share through the CSA program.

Meals-on-Wheels (lakeoswegomealsonwheels.org) – Since 1972, this essential community service has provided hot, delicious, well-balanced meals delivered by volunteers to housebound adults (age 60 and older) and to those who are disabled (of any age).

Hunger Fighters (hungerfi ghtersoregon.org) – Hunger Fighters’ mission is to provide reliable access to nutritious food and essential hygiene items in an inclusive, accepting environment in Lake Oswego.
