Design & Construction Yusuf Aras Kalkan Merve Akdogan The main aim was to design a seating unit that composed only by “timber to timber connections�. For that reason, our starting point was using dowels for the connection parts. The main material of timber was taken from the left-overs of our schools’s design and built studio and used sort of a 3D frame. For seating part to be adjustable and ergonomic, a long elastic strap and three broom handles were used. The construction finalized with the assembly of the seating part to the timber framework.
