I have tested 4 dierent spices. They are: salt, sugar, pepper, oil. I tested the amount that was poured in ten seconds. I tested each sample ten times and calculated the average. The rate at which the spice was poured from the 1 mm opening was calculated according to the following formula.

t=

2m p*S*g 3mm

Holes of dierent sizes

Salt: Sugar: Pepper: Oil:

2*7.3 2.16*13*9.8 2*3.3 1.8*13*9.8 2*4.2 3.7*12*9.8 2*8 0.9*10*9.8

= 0.23 = 0.17 = 0.14 = 0.42

For a more even pouring of the seasoning. The size is calculated based on the ow rate. Under normal circumstances, the speed at which the seasoning is poured through these holes is 1 g / s.
