Thank you for your order of our custom-fit digital designer patterns. After purchasing your digital pattern, within 30 minutes you will receive an email from eFashionPatterns.com that will contain a pattern of your choice, custom-sized to your measurements. Also a technical illustration and construction instructions. Your technical illustration can be imported into Adobe Photoshop to be filled with prints, color or texture of your choice. The technical flat illustration can also be printed out and manually recolored to create design that follows your unique vision.

PRINTING YOUR CUSTOM-FIT PDF PATTERNS: To print your pattern, you will need ADOBE PDF READER. If you do not have this software please download the latest version from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ If you ordered our professional, fully editable DXF version, it can then be imported into most pattern making CAD systems. Before ordering, please make sure that your system can import DXF files. If you have chosen a Print At Home PDF, your pattern will arrive arranged on mutliple tilled pages (usually 40-60) that should be joined together by tape.

PRINTING YOUR CUSTOM-FIT PDF PATTERNS AT HOME: WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EACH AND EVERY TIME THAT YOU PRINT A PATTERN. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT THE SCALE IS PERFECT. To print your pattern, you will need ADOBE PDF READER. If you do not have this software please download the latest version from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ Please print the Calibration Test Page before printing your patterns. You can find the Calibration Test Page as the last page of your pattern. The Test Page will ensure that you are printing your patterns at the correct scale.

1. Open the Calibration Test Page in Adobe Reader. 2. Click the PRINT ICON. This will open the Printer Settings Dialogue box:
3. Set PAGE SCALING to None (Print Actual Size) or turn it off. Forgetting to do this will drastically change the scale of your pattern. 4. Turn on AUTO-ROTATE AND CENTER.

5. Select Pages To Print (enter last page number), then Click OK (Print) to start printing.
6. Once your Calibration Test Page has printed, measure the 10cm scale box with a ruler. If the lengths match, you can confidently print your pattern. If the rulers do not match, check your print settings and retry.

ASSEMBLING YOUR PDF PATTERN PRINTOUT Once your patterns have printed, you will need to put them in order as shown below. To help you: 1. First group each second number. E.g. in a group 1, there are: 1/1, 2/1, 3/1, 4/1, etc. In group 2: 1/2, 2/2, 3/2, 4/2, etc.

2. Once they have been grouped, piece them together in numerical order from left to right.

3. Your printouts will always have a dashed border to perfectly match your pieces. Cut off the right edge of each page. Be careful not to cut beyond the dashed mark, otherwise your patterns will not match accurately.

4. Place page 1/1 on top of the page 2/1, overlapping the right side edge. Match corners and secure with a pin or tape. Then use scotch tape to permanently attach the sheets together.

5. Once row 1 has been completed, continue down numerically until you have finished all of your rows 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

6. You now have to attach each row together. Cut the top edge row 2 using dashed line as guides.

7. Once the top edge is removed, place row 2 on top of row 1. Match dashed lines and corners and attach together using scotch tape as before. Continue this process until you have completed your pattern.

8. Once the pattern has been assembled, it is ready to be cut out.

PRINTING YOUR CUSTOM-FIT PDF PATTERNS AT A COPY SHOP (NO ASSEMBLY NEEDED): IF YOU HAVE SELECTED ‘PLOTTER PDF’ AS A PATTERN OUTPUT OPTION, THEN YOU CAN PRINT YOUR PATTERN USING A WIDE FORMAT PLOTTER AT ANY FEDEX OFFICE OR YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHITECTURAL PRINTING SERVICE SHOP. 1. To print your pattern at Fedex Office, you will need to go to http://www.fedex.com/us/office/online-printing.html 2. Click on Print Your File (Upload Your File).
3. Choose ‘Upload from your computer.’

11. Enter Zip or City and State to find a Fedex Location near you. Click “Continue”.

15. Enter your contact information. A Fedex clerk will use this information to contact you to arrange for the order to be fulfilled.
16. The Payment page comes up, however special orders must be paid in person at a Fedex Office location. Click “Submit Order”

17. Print this page for your records and pesent it to a Fedex clerk when picking up an order.
