Sabine Loewe played at USD from 2003-07, and was a part of the biggest turn around in program history, as she helped lead the 2006-07 team to the program’s lone 21-win season, a 12-game improvement from the previous year. In her senior year, she also helped the Toreros make its inaugural appearance into the WNIT. She finished her career ranked fifth in career shooting percentage at 50.1. She now played professional basketball in Germany.

Amber Sprague was a three-time first-team All-WCC performer and finished her career as USD’s all-time career point leader with 1728 points, and she is also USD’s al-time leader in career rebounds with 868. She heled lead USD into back-to-back post season appearances, making a trip to the WNIT as a sophomore and to the NCAA Tournament as a junior. She now plays basketball fro the Aris Thessaloniki women’s basketball team.

Amanda Rego was a two-time first-team All-WCC selection, and is the lone Toreros in program history to earn the WCC Co-Player of the Year award. A honor she recieved in her junior season after leading the nation in assists with 230. She finished her career as the all-time leader in assists (582) and steals (240). She also set the program record for single game assists with 14 and steals with 10. She now playe professional basketball for the SV Halle Lions.

Kiva Herman left USD in 2009 in stylish fashion, by setting the single-season points record at 588 and the highest ppg total at 18.4. She set the WCC Tournament record with 95 points scored as a senior when USD won three games in three days to reach the WCC Championship game for the second straight year. She earned one first-team All-WCC honor as a senior and was also named to the All-WCC Tournament team that same year. She finished her career with 1,199 points, fifth best all-time. She now plays pro basketball for the Canti Riva Basket.
