ello Readers, Still cold, still wet, still windy and summer is still coming... soon we hope. Exciting things this month include the Shannons Yankalilla Cruise (page 11) brought to you by Yankalilla Rotary Club and featuring a whole weekend of entertainment as well as the actual cruise. It gets bigger every year and this time should be no different. Congratulations to Yankalilla table tennis who picked up their 8th Premiership - in a row! Some happy and excited people on the cover shows they had fun doing it. There is a few rumours floating around about the old Court House building at Normanville. There is plans lodged for development of the site which will go through it’s usual procedures. It would be a great loss for Normanville if something happened to this local icon and those interested in preserving it may want to check with Yankalilla Council to find out what is planned. There are a couple of letters in this issue on the subject. Next issue is the December to mid-January issue (the big one with Christmas etc) so get your stuff in early for this one to make sure. This issue is packed full to the point I had to leave out both Rox Rosey’s writings and the Historical Society’s article on our local history. They will be in next issue.
