Seismic interpretation shows structural configuration of lower Paleozoic, Cretaceous and Tertiary, showing a well-defined structural uniformity forming monoclines with NW-SE direction and SW dip. There is a typical angular unconformity between the Paleozoic (Devonian-Silurian) and Cretaceous, constitutes erosional surfaces beveling Devonian and Silurian sediments on the basement, which implies truncation producing a regressive onlap.

Conclusions Source Rock: Silurian shales (El Carmen Formation) and Devonian (Roboré Formation) have 1 to 2% TOC, and are thermally mature (0.7-1.3% Ro). Generation-Migration: In Fold thrust belt the hydrocarbons were generated and migrated during the Miocene-Pliocene age to foothills and Foreland area. Rock Reservoir: Silurian sandstones (El Carmen Formation), Devonian (Robore Formation), Cretaceous (Ichoa, Yantata and Cajones Formations) and Tertiary (Petaca Formation) have high porosity and permeability values. Seal Rocks: Devonian shales, and Tertiary (Yecua Formation) are good seals. Trap: The main structural-stratigraphic traps are due to soft folds wedging and Paleozoic sequences on the basement.
