Ritz-Carlton gingerbread display swims in sea life

If you were expecting gingerbread men to be walking in a winter wonderland at The RitzCarlton, Sarasota’s gingerbread display, you were probably pleasantly surprised to discover penguins, dolphins, sea urchins and mermaids swimming around in “Winter Water Land.” This year’s 6-foot-tall, 12-foot-long gingerbread display paid homage to more than 50 animated and edible animals prepping for the holidays. The display will be available for viewing in the lobby of The RitzCarlton, Sarasota, 1111 Ritz-Carlton Drive, through Dec. 28.
