TEAM IMPACT DEDICATED AND COMMITTED

IT’S been a very busy start to the year for Team Impact. The team has competed in Brisbane, Cooroy, Darwin, Townsville, Gold Coast and the latest tournament last weekend was in Bundaberg.

“What a great start it has been with the team having 25 bouts with 21 wins and we are not even halfway through the year yet. We also have Cohen & Paige Robinson representing Australia in Samoa at the Oceania Championships held May 21-24, “Coach Evans said. This is another great milestone for our club with Mark Evans being selected as the head coach for the Australian team.

Last weekend we had Jake Ward, Cohen Robinson and Slade Gray compete at the Wide Bay Championships held in Bundaberg. All three had convincing wins against quality opponents to take out the Championships in their respective divisions. “I am very proud of these guys for their wins. They all had to dig deep and all boxed extremely well to win their bouts. We have been on the road pretty well non-stop this year boxing all over the place. These kids just love to box and the whole team is very committed to the sport. There is a great vibe in the gym at the moment and I am predicting a very successful year for the whole team. I am truly blessed to have such a great bunch of disciplined, dedicated and committed young athletes and I look forward to helping these kids reach their individual dreams,” Evans said.
