A Glimpse of the Pacific Youth/ Teen/Adult Age 8+ This class is for transition intermediate level students who have experience in basic Polynesian dance steps and movements. Students will learn featured dances and have the opportunity to explore some traditions of the Polynesian culture, such as costume and implement making. Adult Ballet
Polynesian Dance Basics Youth/Teen/ Adult Age 8+ Beginning polynesian dance basics. Through drills and dance step combinations, students will be offered instruction on basic Polynesian dance steps and motions with a focus on timing, coordination, and form. Age 18+ This class is designed for participants with little or no dance training. The focus is to dance for fitness and health using ballet core fundamentals and movements such as posture, muscle tone, balance, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness. Age 18+ Come experience the fun of Ballroom, Latin, and Swing dancing! Beginning level is for those who are trying partner dancing for the first time. Participants will learn basic patterns and how to dance with another person. In the intermediate and advanced levels, we expand on the patterns and add more fun techniques to bring your dancing to the next level! Singles, pairs and couples welcome.
