A MESSAGE FROM MARY Hello, Everyone, Young Living is on the move, and there is much excitement in the air as our numbers keep climbing. This was a very busy summer for our company, and it’s amazing how quickly the time has gone, with fall already here. We went from our International Grand Convention in June, to Lavender Day in July, to Gold Retreat in August, to the European Convention in Prague in early September, and to Silver Retreat in mid-September, with 2,500 people attending. By the time you read this, the Canadian Diamonds will have had their retreat at the Skyrider Wilderness Ranch in Tabiona, which I’m sure will have been a special time for them. At the end of the month, we will have had the third annual Fall Festival and Draft Horse Show at our farm in Mona. This was one of Gary’s great dreams and perhaps the last that he was able to experience. I hope many of you were able to join us for this amazing event, which Gary foresaw almost 20 years ago. It puts his love of horses in the middle of this farm that grows and distills plants for essential oils that are shipped all over the world. This is the farm where you can see a lot of what Gary loved so much. Attending these events without Gary has felt very strange, although many feel he is watching over all of us. Many say they feel his spirit at the farm, but that will be for you to determine when you are there. His legacy goes forward with great speed and excitement. Jacob, Josef, and I, as well as many who were so close to Gary, are filled with gratitude and are comforted by your love and commitment. We’re calling upon 1 million members to become Freedom Builders by December. On August 30, Young Living announced the 5x5 Pledge, a bold program dedicated to expanding Young Living Founder D. Gary Young’s vision over the next five years. At the forefront of this pledge is a commitment to purpose over profit: quintupling The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation’s impact, uplifting 1.25 million lives by 2023. This ambitious goal can be achieved only through unity as we build a community of people Gary called Freedom Builders. Gary and Mary have always considered themselves Freedom Builders, or individuals who commit to seeing the needs of others, empowering them to change their own lives and the lives of those they touch. DATE CARAMEL APPLE SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS For the date caramel: 4-5 very soft Medjool dates, pitted 1/4 t cup hot water, filtered
tablespoon coconut sugar
teaspoon Yacon Syrup

tablespoons coconut oil
1/2 t teaspoon vanilla extract Pinch of sea salt For the smoothie:
large apple, cored and chopped
1/4 t cup apple juice or apple cider
cup coconut milk (light or regular) or almond milk

scoop Pure Protein Complete Vanilla Spice

drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality™ essential oil

cup crushed ice
INSTRUCTIONS • Place dates, hot water, coconut sugar, Yacon Syrup, coconut oil, sea salt, and vanilla extract in a small blender or food processor and blend until very smooth. • Combine chopped apple, apple juice or cider, coconut milk, Pure Protein Complete, Cinnamon Bark Vitality, and crushed ice in a high-speed blender. Blend until creamy. • Drizzle the date caramel on the inside of 2-3 cups. Pour the smoothie into the cups, top with more caramel, and serve immediately.
