LONDON London is the capital of United Kingdom and one of the world's most visited city. It is situated on the south east of Great Britain Island.

1. Houses of Parliament The Palace of Westminster is the headquarters of the British Parliament. Also known as the Houses of the Parliament, it takes place in two parliamentary chambers; The House of Common and The House of Lords. It is located in Westminster, one of the municipalities that make up London, where there are some of the more representative monuments of the city, as the Abbey of Westminster.

1.2. Big Ben Big Ben is the name which it is known to the great bell of the clock located in the northwest side of the Palace of Westminster, the seat of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, in London. It is also used to name the clock of tower. Its official name was Clock Tower until on June 26 in2012, in honor of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, it was decided that the tower would be renamed Elizabeth Tower. Big Ben tower is 96 metres high in the sky overlooking Westminster.

2. St James's Park St James’s Park is at the heart of London and covers 23 hectares (58 acres). It's also home to the Mall, with many ceremonial parades and events of national celebration. The pelicans are fed every day at 14:30, and there are water birds,


plus owls, woodpeckers and bats. There's a children’s playground, and deckchairs from April to September. Changing the Guard occurs daily in summer and alternate days for rest of year; The Queen's Lifeguard changes daily at Horse Guards Parade Ground. Toilets are available, including some with disability access.

2.1. Hyde Park With more than 140 hectares of extentioon, Hyde Park is the larger park in the centre of London. In Hyde Park is possible to do many activities like lie on the grass, sunbathe, skate, ride a bike and some other sports. One of the favourite activities is rent a boat in the central lake called Serpentine, a small oasis habited by a variety of aquatic fauna.

3. The National Gallery The National Gallery displays more than 2,000 Western European paintings from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. You can explore inspiring art by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Gainsborough, Turner, Renoir and Van Gogh. The pictures in the collection belong to the public and admission to see them is free. There are free guided tours, audio guides available in multiple languages and free family activities for children of all ages.

3.1 Madame Tussauds Madame Tussauds is one of the most famous museum in London and one of the most important museums of wax in the world. In this museum we can find numerous wax models such as Pirates of the Caribbean, World leaders and the Royal Family. There are interactive activities like the entering the Big Brother diary room, umpiring an Andy Murray tennis match or taking a penalty alongside David Beckham. Also, you can have your picture taken alongside some important celebrities like Leonardo Di Caprio. In the music zone, many visitors try out the dance moves of Bob Marley, Kylie and Justin Timberlake and you can watch a film wich is about the nature and status of celebrities culture.

4. Soho Soho is a neighbourhood situated in the centre of London and it's famous for its atmosphere. You can find live entertainment, interesting food and pulsing nightlife. Also you can see boutique shopts that can be foubd along Berwick Street, Carnaby Street and in Kingly Court. You can relax in Soho Square or take a delicious meal in its restaurants like Yalla Yalla. For electronics shos you'll find the best shopping along Oxford Street and Regent Street. Soho is also home for famous stores such as Hamleys, the toy shop.


Soho is known for its sex shops, burlesque shows and gay and lesbian bars for its great nightlife. Also in Soho you can see plays in the Prince Edward Theatre and the Prince of Wales Theatre, where the visitors stay for a very long time.

4.1. Camden Town Camden Town is one of London's most famous neighbourhoods, offering a huge range of things to do. Is known for its market where there are hundreds of stalls in which you can buy many things like jewellery, fashion accesories, shoes and alternative clothes. Many stallholders sell their own jewellery and clothes. Also, in its streets you can taste food of countries around the world like Italian food and Russian food.


If you go to Camden Town on Summer you can enjoy watching a play of Shakespeare, comedies or dramas under the stars in the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

5. Piccadilly Circus Piccadilly Circus is one of London's most popular tourist destinations. Here you can sit by the famous statue of Eros (a popular landmark), or take some photos in front ot the iconic advertising hoarding. Piccadilly Circus is a road junction for several London streets, including Regent Street, Piccadilly Street, Soho and Shaftesbury Avenue. Around it there are many theatres, restaurants and shops where you can buy something.

Important information The famous Piccadilly Circus lights are switched off until autumn 2017, while the existing screens are replaced. During this time, the lights will be covered by a temporary advertising banner.


6. The View From The Shard The View from The Shard is the premium visitor attraction at the top of Western Europe's tallest building, and London's newest landmark, The Shard. Designed by Master Architect Renzo Piano, the Shard redefines London’s skyline and has become a dynamic symbol of London. At a height of up to 800ft or 244m, The View from The Shard offers spectacular views over London for up to 40 miles. Twice as high as any other vantage point in the city, it is the only place where visitors can see the entire city at once.
