Saturday 1 July 5.00pm

Grounds open from 4.00pm to 8.00pm

Tickets: £10–£33, under 30s half price

6.00pm Picnic Interval

7.15pm Concert, second half

Gather a group of family and friends, bring a picnic, spread a blanket on the lawn in the School’s beautiful grounds and settle in for an afternoon of gorgeous music. And don’t forget that our bar will be serving chilled Prosecco and the essential summer Pimm’s!

In The Menuhin Hall pupils will perform pieces from their forthcoming recording on the Orchid Classics label followed by Dvořák’s glorious Serenade, conducted by Associate Artist Maxim Rysanov

Running time: 120 minutes plus 75-minute interval for picnic

Family Day: The Carnival of the Animals

Sunday 2 July Performances at 1.15pm & 3.45pm* Grounds open from 12 noon to 5.00pm

Tickets £10, under 30s half price

Have you ever seen a tortoise dancing the can-can or an elephant attempting a nimble waltz? How about violins masquerading as cheeky, pecking hens or kangaroos leaping across pianos? No? Well, you can find them all and more in Saint-Saëns’ fun-filled The Carnival of the Animals.

Pack a picnic and bring the whole family along for an afternoon of musical magic with workshops, poetry, facepainting and much more. Giggles are guaranteed!

Running time: Performances last approximately 1 hour

*Your ticket is valid for your selected 1.15pm or 3.45pm performance but you are welcome to stay and enjoy the School’s grounds and activities all afternoon.
