Jamie Carragher is set to host a major event celebrating the achievements of women in football.

The Women’s Football Awards, supported by MailOnline Sport, will honour the people, brands and organisations who are contributing to the phenomenal growth of the sport.

Sponsored by global online fashion, beauty and lifestyle retailer SHEIN, it is the first time that all levels of women’s football will be recognised at one flagship event.

The ceremony is set to be hosted by former Chelsea and England international Eni Aluko alongside Sky Sports presenter Carragher.

The pair will be joined by leading personalities from the women’s game, male football allies and celebrities.
