SOUTH SHORE YMCA Early Childhood Camp
AGES 3-5
Our Early Childhood Camp—Camp Rainbow—provides our youngest campers with hands-on, experiential, fun activities designed to support each child’s social, physical, and cognitive skill development. Activities include swimming, outdoor play, music and movement, interactive science, language and literacy activities, and themes for each week of camp. All Staff members are CPR & First Aid certified. They are experienced in engaging with preschoolers, and understand the importance of rich adult-child interactions and focus on building supportive, nurturing relationships with every camper. Campers also will enjoy our cool, air-conditioned classrooms and peanut/tree nut-sensitive facility. This camp runs from July 2 – August 24, 2018. *Please note: Campers must be 3-years-old prior to camp start date, and be completely potty-trained to attend Camp Rainbow. For full-day campers, a packed healthy lunch from home is required; daily snacks are provided by the YMCA and included for all participants.
DATES & HOURS
Five-day campers will get two days of swim instruction. (Non-swim instruction days include water fun and sprinkler). Three-day campers (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) will get one day of swim instruction. (Non-swim instruction days include water fun and sprinkler). Two-day campers (Tuesday and Thursday) enjoy water fun and sprinkler only.
