FUN AND ADVENTURE FOR KIDS on the shores

of beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake, 100 miles west of Dallas! Wakeboarding, sailing, horseback riding, Oh my!

YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is the Overnight Camp of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. We are one camp with three separate campsites: A site for boys 7-12, girls 7-12, and coed teens 13-16. We know the positive, life-changing impact camp can have on children’s lives. Using camp activities, staff focus on helping kids form strong friendships and develop strong character. CGS exists to deliver exceptional outdoor programs that inspire, build, and strengthen relationships with God, His creation and each other!

WHY THREE PRICES?

You pick your price. Our top rate is the cost we spend on your child’s experience. The YMCA and CGS believe every child deserves the camp experience! We understand that every family has a unique financial situation. We are committed to make camp available to all by offering subsidized rates. Regardless of price chosen, each camper receives the opportunity to participate in all activities. If you need additional financial assistance, please see the information on scholarships.

ski, horseback ride, or having a slumber party under the stars, new adventures abound for girls at Ray Bean Camp! Directed by an allfemale staff, a camper’s week is full of making new friends, singing silly songs, and belly laughing. The staff helps girls become stronger individuals and teaches them how to approach the adventures of life. This staff is specially selected and committed to role-modeling Christian leadership and values.

For Boys 7 -12

for boys! Fly high on the wakeboard, learn to capture the wind on the Hobie Cat, cook out, camp out, and gain a whole new group of brothers & friends! Our well-trained and specifically selected male staff model Christian values and serve as mentors. There’s something special about the relationships that campers and staff make at an all boys’ camp. Not a father-figure or big brother, but that “cool uncle” who has the best toys and creative ideas. We are Main Camp!
