The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995)

This flick is SUPER cute if you’re looking for something light-hearted and sapphic. Two teenagers, the butch oddball Randy Dean (Laurel Holloman) and the dreamy popular girl Evie Roy (Nicole Ari Parker), live in a small town and become more than just close friends, despite the different social circles and living situations It’s absolutely a to watch the relationship blossom, and see how the pair co revealing their relationship to their families.

Music Recommendation:

Rooted in the early 1970s feminist women’s music movement, Cris Williamson’s deep vocals and catchy melodies are absolutely stunning to listen to! This album in particular has sounds of Rock, Folk, World, and Country. Listening to this album while driving down the highway or the countryside with the summer wind in your face sets the tone for a relaxing ride.
