GRADUATE FEEDBACK

February 2023 Survey

Comments: It’s full on, exciting, challenging. It certainly takes time to get your head around all the responsibilities, and learning to juggle them is a key skill. It has been such a great way to build up adults who care about teenagers, reach out to our local adolescents, build intergenerational relationship that would never exist otherwise and introduce teens to Jesus in a real, fun, life on life way. Being on staff is life-giving!

Impact of DGL: DGL allowed me to do youth work while in university. DGL enabled me to learn how to be a leader, understand YL, and put those together. DGL helped me to meet people all over Europe who have the same heart for youth ministry as myself, which really encouraged me. DGL equipped me with the training and skills to enter YL Staff with confidence and experience, which I think was essential being the first full time staff in Ireland.

Suggestions: I think improving the amount that your line manager and you connect would be helpful. My line managers were always overseas which of course made it harder, but it was definitely the area I struggled with most.

Future involvement:

Anything we can celebrate with you? Recently got engaged!

Prayer requests: For our teens in Maynooth beginning to investigate their own personal relationship with God for the first time, for more leaders, and for sustainability.

Additional comments: Grateful for those who support DGL! It set me up to impact my country through God’s Grace!
