YL Staff Role: Communication specialist Africa West

Comments: It has helped improve my life in all aspects. Securing a job in my country after graduation is very difficult. So being hired as an Associate Logistic in 2018 and later accepted as Communications Specialist after applying and sitting interviews and tests has meant so much to me.

Impact of DGL: This program was heaven-sent. The mentor lessons were the key to a turnaround in my life. I am a person of integrity and a good steward today because of the mentor lessons. If I had not been in the program, I might not have entered college and my dream of becoming an Electronics Engineer may have not become a reality. It also reduced the financial burdens on the shoulders of my parents.

Suggestions: If I could do any of them, I will increase the slots in the economic challenge countries. I will create an avenue for vocational training because everyone will not have the ability to withstand academic challenges. I will give an annual test based on the mentoring lesson of that year.

Future involvement: Be a professional mentor for a student Be a personal mentor for a student Be a prayer partner Create newsletters with needs and stories to share with other prayer partners Participate in trainings

Anything we can celebrate with you? I want you to join me in celebration of my promotion from Associate Logistics to Communication Specialist for Africa West. I also want you to join me in celebrating my marriage and God’s many blessings upon my life.

Prayer requests: Join me as I pray for God’s wisdom and direction as I share stories of kids and what is happening in our Geography.
