The interior design of the villa expands on the concept of the Canyon as the element that separates but also articulates the two sides of the building, “the Sea” or the formal side and “the Creek” or the family side of the home. The formal side takes its cues of materiality from the sea with bright opulence and shimmering lighting fixtures. The family side of the home is reminiscent of the creek, serene with its earth tones, subtle lighting and color variations. Through out the home, many of the natural materials of the building on the exterior are brought inside blurring the lines between inside and out.
