Network focuses on increasing the financial independence of women who are survivors and vulnerable to trafficking. We use a three-fold strategy: Provide entrepreneur ship, leadership and technical skills to women to improve the design and quality of the products they produce Use modern marketing techniques to increase their access to the marketplace Increase our partner organization's capacity to hire more women at risk and survivors of human trafficking Our goal is to provide or increase capacity for employers to provide living wages to populations. We also partner with retailers to increase access to consumers that demand products that are made ethicall y. t

Te c h a c c e s s o r i e s , everyday lifestyle items, and functional totes and bags are good star ting points for your design direction. The target customers are Millennials (men and women) who are socially-conscious consumers. The target market price for one item is $15-$75, depending on its s i z e , d e t a i l s , a n d f u n c t i o n a l i t y.

BLOOM Consequently, I used origami technical skill to create the rose. Its interesting skill that can make simple rice bags into beautiful shape of rose encouraged me to embellish on a toatbag. It is very simple, yet sophisticated which will be a great skills for these women to acquire. The quality of the ricebag is as easy to fold as a paper, so once its cut and sewn, it becomes matted and gets well attached to the body. Overall, I wanted to create an adherent product that has a symbolic meaning as well as technical functionality

The idea of bringing security and beauty to the victims of human trafficking inspired me to create a collection of rose inspired accessory items. The concept of finding a new life of love, prosperity, and protection are symbolized often in roses. So, by symbolically implementing the design element of rose such as layers and organic lines, I wanted to pass on the hope to both the women in pain and the buyers that we can become layers of love and hope that will secure and dream for the greater beauty of this world.

Our network bridges the gap between a vulnerable workforce and the marketplace to generate awareness and demand for survivor-made products. Nomi Network's strategy is to partner with existing non-profit organizations and social enterprises that serve our target group. We link these organizations that typically compete against each other for limited resources to create employment channels through product development and sales. We

Mandarin (high) collar that can be worn up or down. When worn up, this keep crud from getting down inside the shirt, and eliminates chafing from the protective vest. Rank insignia can be attached above the right chest pocket with Velcro. Velcro is also used for attaching the unit patch, skill tabs and recognition devices. This spares troops the hassle of sewing on, and later removing, patches. The Velcro also allows all the patches and such to be removed before the uniform s are sent to the laundry.

Integrated blouse bellows for increased upper body mobility. Again, convenience. Integrated Friend or Foe Identification Square on both left and right shoulder pocket flap. This is a current method for making it easier to avoid friendly fire incidents. The Velcro makes it easy to take these patches off at night, when they tend to make the troops more visible.

Zippered front o n the shirt, which is easier to close than buttons.

Elbow pouch for internal elbow and knee pad inserts. The introduction of knee and elbow pads in the 1990s saved thousands of infantry troops from painful, and sometimes permanent, injuries. Infan try spend a lot of time getting down on e lbows and knees, especially in combat. The inserts are cheaper and easier to use than the more traditional elbow and knee protectors similar to those you see in sporting goods stores. Elastic leg cuff, a useful item for keeping the crud out when you are in the field. Tilted chest pockets with Velcro closure. Makes the pockets easier to use when wearing your webbing gear.

T h i s p r o j e c t w a s i n s p i r e d b y 1 9 t h c e n t u r y m e n ’s tailoring in which a man would be measured by a tailor to adjust areas of his suit to create the perfect fit. In my collection for fall/winter 2014 w o m a n ’s r e a d y - t o - w e a r c o l l e c t i o n , I h a v e a p p r o p r i ated this idea to compose outfits with frameworks t h a t a l l o w f o r a d j u s t a b i l i t y a t t h e w o m a n ’s f a v o r. For instance, one may pull up invisible zippers that surrounds a pencil skirt and it will become a flare s k i r t . T h e f l e x i b i l i t y, m o b i l i t y, a n d s t y l e w h i c h women are given choice to make according to her environment will become modern and efficient proposal for women's interest.

work, social, and family life. Many options with less time consumption to make decisions for these ladies looks is a significant factor for this collection. Thus, garments are designed to be able to transform and be adjusted as dress to coat, skirt to pants, jacket to vest, and so forth through appliance of certain seams, openings, and closures. For example, a jacket with removable sleeves through using snaps can be transformed into a vest where it can be easily worn with casual blazzer in an office or for a nice coffee break.

urthermore, one-garment-fits-all-sizes adjustable framework is imprinted with measurement to give much more specification for women for fit purposes. These measurements are embroidered and printed both externally and internally on the clothes to highlight the in front structures of the garments. These in front structure are referenced from men's suit, which are used to create interesting patches, pockets, seam details on women's garment. The choice of fabrication are varied from wool, stretch satin, double faced felt, rayon valet, to s t r e t c h j e r s e y.
