Course T LEVEL ONSITE CONSTRUCTION: BRICKLAYING (LEVEL 3)

Entry Industry Requirements Placement

Course Description Through T Level Onsite Construction, you will cover core content related to the Construction sector and choose an occupational specialism which can be either brickwork or carpentry and joinery. Your learning will cover a range of practical elements, so that you can develop your skills in research, problem solving, solutiondevelopment, communication and collaboration. Under the Bricklaying occupation specialism, you will learn health and safety regulations, control of noise, and working at height, while working safely across different construction projects; bricklaying tools, building regulations and methods of working; masonry structures; establishing sub and superstructure elements of a building; finishing/ establishing working areas; calculating costs.

Building Services Engineering is a qualification for students to discover the plumbing, heating and electrics trade. You will cover core content related to the Building Services Engineering sector and choose an occupational specialism which can be either Plumbing or Electrical. Your practical learning will be designed to ensure you develop your experience within your occupational specialism and you will learn health and safety practices associated with carrying out plumbing work; plumbing tools and equipment; pipework materials; installation methods and joining processes; plumbing systems and their purpose; plumbing science; principles of measurement and marking out components and pipework. English and Maths: A minimum of grade 4 in English and Maths.

T LEVELS BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERING FOR CONSTRUCTION – ELECTROTECHNICAL ENGINEERING (LEVEL 3)

Building Services Engineering is a qualification for students to discover the plumbing, heating and electrics trade. You will cover core content related to the Building Services Engineering sector and choose an occupational specialism from Plumbing or Electrical. By selecting the Electrotechnical Engineering Occupation Specialism, you will learn health and safety practices associated with carrying out electrotechnical systems engineering; installation methods and termination of connections; systems and products used in electrotechnical engineering; analysing and using information to and from electrotechnical systems; removal processes as part of system decommissioning. English and Maths: A minimum of grade 4 in English and Maths.
