WELCOME

Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer! I'm so happy for you guys in this new journey that you’re about to embark.

Let's be real - you had an unlimited selection of photographers that could have chosen to photograph your wedding. You probably looked at diferent prices, diferent styles, diferent personalities, and so much more before you could narrow it down. And that's why I'm SO grateful that you chose me!

The best way for us to get to know you is through our engagement sessions. Whether we go up to the mountains, chase a waterfall, or explore a city, our primary goal is to connect with you two. I believe that our connection matters and is essential for our experience together. It is my mission to capture the real story, the real you.

After your session, expect to receive photographs designed for you to see yourselves and your relationship more profoundly. We stop for a moment and help you guys return in time to remember the irst kiss, the irst - I love you- and all the good times and not-so-good times that help us grow as a couple.

We do get real, and I promise you two will have a lot of FUN!

Choosing Time & Day

We love natural light. We believe that natural light creates fresh and timeless photographs. It is real, and it looks real.

Depending on the season, the best time would be two hours before sunset. If we get bad weather, we can always reschedule it for another day; however, since the weather can also be unpredictable, we will likely wait until that day to decide whether to postpone it. Sometimes the skies clear out, so we wait at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.

About the day, it’s usually best to book a weekday rather than a weekend. This is because weekdays are likely to be less crowded than weekends, especially if we are planning on going somewhere that it’s popular with tourists.

Engagement sessions are usually best to book between 6 months before the wedding. This will give you guys plenty of time for save-the-dates!

Choosing the ght loca on

The ca on

No matter where we go, our focus is mainly on you guys. Let’s be honest; there are many good places for engagement sessions, especially here around Asheville, NC.

Whether we go to the mountains, waterfalls, or around downtown, our goal is to connect with you guys. We usually send you guys a list of the best locations to go since we already know how long the hike might be, the light will be, and so on. These locations we have scouted already ahead of time, so this gives us a lot of advantage on our end to create amazing photographs.

Our sessions tend to last between 1.5 hr to 2 hrs. We will meet at a designated spot and, from here, start our journey together.

We highly recommend bringing a backpack with you in case you have in mind to change your outit or change of shoes and also to have a place to put your stuf like car keys, phones, etc. Some locations require a little hike, so it will also be good to bring a water bottle/snack with you just in case.

What to w r??

What to w r

First of all, you be YOU. We want you to express yourselves and be comfortable with whatever you want to wear. But, choosing what to wear can be pretty stressful, so we would love to share some styling tips with you.

Tips for both

Try to avoid the “matchy-matchy” look; for example, white shirts and jeans, same patterns, and same colors. It looks way too perfect and way too boring. Being versatile in your outits can be way more fun and creative. Be fun, and don’t be afraid to think this is too much. We want you guys to express yourselves.

Skip the spray tan, for real. Natural skin tones are way more appealing and won’t look too “orangy.” Believe me, you will be much, much better!

Avoid t-shirts with brands or logos. The simpler, the better. Less is more. Although, don’t be shy about using accessories. Hats, scarves, jewelry... you name it.

In case the weather gets really cold, feel free to bring your coats. These you can put on/of, and we promise we won’t make you sufer.

Lastly, be ready to have fun, create memories, and embrace your inner selves while remembering all the good things and the new adventures coming your way.

This is your time to be bold and embrace yourself. Make sure that whatever you choose to wear, you can move around with it. Comfy and cute shoes are the key; heels can’t be too fun. We want to adventure around with you guys!

Jeans and leggings are fun, but long dresses allow us to create motion unless you guys want to opt for an edgy/badass look ;)

Makeup helps a lot, especially to cover those blemishes that aren’t naturally yours.

Also, feel free to bring another outit that you wish to wear; you could do a dressy one and a more fun casual one; however, this is completely optional.

Tips for the gals Tips for the guys

Prepare yourself to have fun and chill. We promise we won’t bother you with boring poses; we are pretty laid back.

Denim/leather jackets look really cool, and if the weather is too hot, you can always take them of. Try to avoid vests; they tend to make an uptight look, that is unless both of you want an elegant look.

Prep yourself with a clean haircut and groomed beard. Boots or comfy shoes look better than tennis shoes. Please, pretty please, avoid chewing tobacco during the session; once we wrap it out, you can chew as much as you can, lol!

After your session

After your session, you could expect so many good memories We want you to remember all the giggles, tears, and quiet moments while seeing your photographs. These are mementos of a day that you guys took for yourselves.

You will be receiving an online gallery -similar to your wedding day- where you can download all the photos and share them with your beloved ones. Also, you are able to order prints there, too; your family and friends will be able to do so as well!

The turnaround time will be from 4-6 weeks after your session. Save the dates are usually sent out around 6-8 months prior to your wedding. We do also ofer photo books! These are perfect for your guests to sign up on your wedding day. These you could order a month before the wedding to be able to arrive on time.

What to Expe

Expect to receive photographs that were designed for you to see yourselves and your relationship in a deep way. We get real during our sessions.

We stop time for a moment and help you guys go back in time to remember the irst kiss, the irst time -I love you- was mentioned, the good times and the not-so-good times that help us grow as a couple. Yes, we go back to all those moments that sadly with time, we tend to forget.

This is your new chapter. This is where, prior to saying “I do,” you start preparing for marriage. A new adventure that’s about to start, and like any other, you live, you grow, and you love.

I believe that together we can create some magic.

THANK U

Thank you for putting your trust in me. This job means the world to me - and my couples are what make it happen. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Don't forget - I'm here for whatever you need, whether that be help with your timeline, help deciding on a dress, or questions about your photos. My job goes beyond clicking the button of my camera - I'm here to make sure you have the best wedding day possible. And I cant wait to be there!
