500 people enjoyed the Yaiza Classical Music Festival A sound success for the 2013 Yaiza Classical Music Festival, this encounter with art on the cultural calendar of the island, with five hundred people in four concerts held between the 1st and the 7th December. The quality of the guest artists and masterful performances of works from maestros in the history of music captivated the crowd at the Yaiza House of Culture, the Convento de Santo Domingo and the El Grifo Winery, the locations of the concerts of this tour. Yaiza welcomed around one hundred and twenty people in the inaugural concert, held on the 1st of the month in the Benito Pérez Armas House, with protagonists Natalia Lubimova and the brothers Pablo and Alberto Martos. The musicians performed works from Beethoven and Mozart, kicking off a fantastic week of concerts that continued in the Convento de Santo Domingo (Teguise). The music came back to Yaiza on Thursday 5th, this time with a performance from Karen Shakhgaldyan and Pablo Martos on violin, Natalia Luvimova, on viola, and cellist Alberto Martos, offering a fabulous recital with works from Beethoven and Alexander Borodin, which brought the loudest applause from the attendees. The Festival was brought to a close in El Grifo Winery on the 7th December.
