Arrange low-growing herbs and draping herbs: trailing rosemary, chives, nasturtium near the basket sides. Put tighter-growing herbs such as Italian parsley and sweet basil in the center of the basket. Add color to the basket with chives, nasturtium, rosemary, purple sage. Several varieties of basil and thyme are available to make a “theme” herb basket. Care hints for your herb basket: 1. Try to let the basket get at least 4 hours of outdoor sunshine every day. 2. Water daily and let drain freely. Make sure you water the foliage and leaves as well as the roots. 3. Feed plants once or twice each week. 4. Harvest frequently and trim off yellow or dead leaves. Make sure the lower growing plants are not blocked by high leaves.
