Besides the production difficulties Tayo faced while creating his brand, he faces difficulties to this day being a representative of black culture, wanting to deliver the message of peace via his ethnicity, heart and soul which he puts out in his art work in the form of merch. “I am undeniably a black man. People see it and WBF is out there in your face on every piece I produce. It’s all a reflection of my personality, I say it as it is.” “To this day though, I meet people who ask why they should wear something that says black when they are not a part of the culture. People fear what they can’t understand, and what I try to put out through my merch is that I am representing and sending peace and love to everyone. Representing doesn’t mean we’re not inclusive.” “I have had a lot of ups and downs, socially and production wise, It took me until the end of last year to find the exact material and production process that best suited my brand.”
