MENU THE SCRUMMY DETAILS




MENU PHILOSOPHY The Yummies for Little Tummies menu is designed especially with little ones’ health & wellbeing in mind. Our dietitian approved menu is fresh daily, low in salt & added sugar, rich in essential fats & completely free from nasty additives. We understand that kids need a combination of safe & familiar foods that remind them of home & foods to stretch their palate. We know that veggies aren’t always kids favourites. The Yummies menu allows your kids to explore veggies in their whole, fresh form plus we weave them through the menu in creative ‘hidden’ ways. You will find at the very least three kinds of veggies in all our hot meals. You won’t believe the range of food the kids will end up eating! We love to watch them grow & thrive, just like you.

CENTRE’S CHOICE There are menus for 3 different age groups 6-9 months, 9-12 months, & 12 months+ to support different development stages. There are 4 different weekly menus for each age group that rotate & update seasonally. Centres can also choose their lunch option throughout the year: • Hot meals daily • Cold meals daily • Alternating hot & cold; or • A combination of hot & cold daily (the favourite)

HEALTHY TRICKS Here’s a few tricks Yummies use to ensure the freshest, healthiest food for Yummies Kids. • Whole foods are our priority • Our fresh wholemeal bread is baked daily to Yummies special salt-reduced recipe • We use healthy spreads such as pureed vegetables & avocado in place of butter • Our No-nut butter is a high-protein, allergy-friendly alternative to peanut butter • We use nitrate & nitrite free ham – fresh & with no chemicals, just the way we like it! • Our sandwich meats are roasted fresh in house with herbs & no added salt • Yummies own Tomato sauce is made using 6 different herbs & veggies, with nothing else added • A variety of healthful oils are used • Fresh ingredients are delivered daily from the Brisbane Markets
