Stanger Secondary at Top Schools Tournament
REPRESENTING: Stanger Secondary School learners represented KwaDukuza at the Top Schools Tournament which was held in Durban from 11 to 13 October 2013. KDAC to host awards evening PRODIGY: Sameer Manjoo (13), coached by Rowena Sanders, is a tennis wunderkind winning all his Under-17 singles titles matches and winning two doubles matches. The prodigy, a member of the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Tennis Squad, will play at a provincial tournament in Bloemfontein in December.
Amashova event a success KwaDukuza Cycling Club participated in the Amashova event this past weekend. Those that participated were: 106km: Zax Vadia, Dan Wellington, Mohammed Rawat, Zahir Rawat, Rashid Amir, Shiraz Tayob, Ebrahim Ismail, Mohammed Seedat and Aslam Manjra 65km: Raveen Baboothilal, Feizal Moolla, Mohammed. Omarjee, Dino Moodley, Vikesh Baboothilal and Riaz Bassa 35km: Humza Ismail, Talhaa Ismail, Mohammed Danka, Abdurahmaan Danka, Mubeen Cassimjee, Yaseen Amir and Muhammed Hassim.
KDCC is all set to launch the safe cycling campaign. The club has teamed up with Iqra printers who will be sponsoring all signs that go up on our roads. With Iqra printers now on board KDCC can now launch their safe cycling campaign. The club is indebted to Iqra printers for their support.
KwaDukuza Athletic Club will host their anual awards day function on 9 November 2013 at the Bethel Baptist Church Hall commencing at 6.30pm. Danny Sewmungal by 17 October 2013. KDAC will host its final breakfast run for 2013 on 27 October 2013 at Tinley Manor Beach commencing at 5am. Members are urged to join this event and enjoy a fun filled day. Members must confirm numbers with Sue Gungadeen on 0843217545 or at time trials on Thursdays.
The Annual Event for 2013 is its AGM which will be held on 30 November 2013 at Stanger Manor Primary School at 3pm. All executive members to submit their portfolio reports to Miss Yulesha Devnarain on 0837082459 or Miss Ashnee Naidoo on 0747475181. Executive portfolio reports are due by 16 November 2013.
KWADUKUZA MUNICIPALITY Temporal vacancies for Qualified Plumbers, Unskilled Plumbers and Qualified Electricians KwaDukuza Municipality in partnership with P.J.S Communications will be embarking on a program to install solar geysers throughout the ward within the boundaries of KwaDukuza. The following temporal vacancies exist. 1. 10 qualified plumbers with certification per ward 2. 10 plumbers without certification per ward, 10 unskilled per ward. 3. 10 qualified electricians per ward.
