{ OBJECTIVE }
The goal of this project is to create a design that is appropriate for the content and audience and focus on the foundational elements of page structure. Build the overall structure and organization. First make it legible and organized. Having a clearly defined color palette helps keep the report consistent.
Type Systems
Research a company in a field that has an annual report. Then develop the visual language of the report design. Focus on the mood of the typography, layout, photography, illustration, color and information graphics. Use charts and graphs to communicate messages clearly and effectively.

{ APPROACH }
Sandra Isla
{ OBJECTIVE }
The concept is to provide a graphic solution to help food foragers have a safe foraging experience. The main message of the deliverables is to provide foragers with practical safety foraging skills and knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to explore in the wild.
Visual Thinking
Address a problem in the real world. Then create graphic design solutions to solve the problems through specific process development techniques. Provide the solution visually with a variety of media that work together as a cohesive brand system.

Design Conference

{ APPROACH }
John Nettleton
{ OBJECTIVE }
The new design has a combination type style of san serif, serif, and calligraphy for the word “Tokyo” in Japanese, emphasizing the concept of the design conference. The theme of “ATypI 2019” is rediscovering typography in Tokyo. The redesigned conference uses type to show a city of change and tradition.
Type Systems
Choose a design conference and redesign the relevant visual materials for it. The concept will guide the choices of color and type, and influence the aesthetic of the grid. Every design decision should fall back on the concept for direction.

{ APPROACH }
John Nettleton
{ OBJECTIVE }
The new design provides readers with the pure pleasure of wandering through these wondrous and exotic scenes of old California. The book presents the possibilities for both change and conservation in our present-day landscape. A State of Change is as vital as it is visionary.
Type Composition
Choose a coffee-table book that has large images, and all the necessary components, such as text, captions, titles, subtitles, etc. Then redesign the book cover, and content by showing sample spreads that are listed under each chapter.

{ OBJECTIVE }
The series of three books is a work of science fiction by the Chinese writer Cixin Liu. The concept of this project is to create the illusion of three-dimensional space by using linear perspective. Putting type in perspective enhances the visual communication, and works together with grounding elements.
Type Composition
Design a series of 3 book covers—which include front cover, spine, and back cover—to represent a reissue from a publisher. Each front cover design should reflect the essence of the book, giving the reader a hint of the content.

{ OBJECTIVE }
The primary goal of this project is to help raise awareness of environmental issues and inspire, or remind people about the importance of environmental impact on our planet by providing a street art web gallery as a platform for artists to share their work.
Digital Desig Studio
This design gallery will feature the work of practitioners whose work advances one (or more) of the UN Global Goals. It will combine editorial content in the form of blog publishing and a social networking component into a cohesive user experience.

The movie is about a linguist who communicates with alien lifeforms which “speak” by spewing intricate circular ink blots out of their tentacles. The redesigned posters translate ink as a graphic element combined with photocopy texture to represent the mysterious feeling of the film.
Type Experiments
Explore and experiment with typographic form in a new way and take ideas and techniques from various explorations. Then, choose a poster to redesign into a set of three. Be able to defend the work by articulating and envisioning an internal logic, narrative, strategy, process and explanation.
