SIDEWALL INSTRUCTIONS

Sidewall Components Meet CPAI-84 Fire Requirements

Note: The long toggle loop straps are for the sidewall roll-up feature.

2 (Side) Sidewalls

Step 1: ATTACHING (SIDE) SIDEWALLS

Locate the 2 (side) sidewalls and place them on opposing sides of the shelter; these walls will serve as the sides of the unit. Attach each sidewall to the frame by wrapping the toggle and loop straps (use short loop first) around the frame trusses and the side hook & loop straps around the legs of the frame. Secure the straps by pressing them onto the opposite end of the hook & loop strip. Note: The top of the sidewall tucks in between the shelter’s frame and the valance of the shelter’s top.

Step 2: ATTACHING (BACK DOOR) MIDDLE-ZIPPER SIDEWALL

Locate the sidewall with the middlezipper which can be used as a back door. To attach, make sure that the two halves of the sidewall are zipped together; then, follow the instructions under Step 1 above.

Step 3: ATTACHING (FRONT) SIDEWALL

If the awning is attached simply remove awning material first. (See the Awning Instructions sheet, over the page.) Locate the sidewall with cut-outs at the top corners. Lift the hook & loop flap over the cut-outs and slide the cutouts

over the awning bracket arms. Attach the sidewall to the frame by wrapping the top toggle & loop straps around the frame trusses and the side hook & loop straps around the legs of the frame. Secure the straps by pressing them onto the opposite end of the hook & loop strip.

The short toggle loop straps are for attaching the sidewall to the frame trusses. Note: When enclosing your shelter and zipping up all 4 sidewalls, it is strongly recommended that you take down the awning and remove the name banner to avoid wind damage.

Reattach Awning Material when complete.

Step 4: ENCLOSING THE SHELTER

To fully or partially enclose the E-Z UP® shelter, zip the sidewalls together at each corner of the frame.

Step 5: SIDEWALL ROLL-UP FEATURE

To use the roll-up feature, unzip the sidewall at each corner. Have two people stand on each end of the sidewall and roll the sidewall up. Once the sidewall has been rolled to the top, secure it by using the long toggle & loop strap. Wrap the strap around the sidewall, over the frame truss, and then hook onto the toggle end.

Step 6: RELEASING THE ROLLED-UP SIDEWALLS

To drop down the rolled-up sidewalls, release the toggle & loop straps and let the sidewall unroll and drop to the ground.
