The student would be looking at a very handsomely paying job in such a case. An MBA opens up possibilities of an executive level position for the student. Instead of racking their brains in a technical job, the student can aim for a job in the corporate boardroom. There is a good chance that the student might eventually ascend to become the CTO of an engineering firm. An MBA provides opportunities outside the engineering sector as well.
