It should be at least 8 characters long and type it twice to confirm. Select Change secret code and finally, it is done. Now, log out from the dashboard and try to sign in again with your new password. The account will open now.
If in case a user forgot his current password, then he can reset it from the login page. Visit the Xero Sign in Page. Enter User Id and click Forgot password. When you enter the email address through which you used to login to your account click Send Link button. A link is sent to provide User ID check the email and open the link to reset the secret code. Clicking on the link will open a new browser window where you have to enter the new password for the account. Now, you can log in with your new secret keys.
